The Victoria Inn

'The Victoria Inn - an award winning family business since 1975.

Michael Webster is owner and landlord who first worked alongside his parents at the age of 18 and later took over the business which became a free house in the 1980's.

A family affair - Michaels sisters Angela and Libby have worked with Michael over the decades running the Vic. Sadly Angie, a larger than life character passed away in recent years.

The family are passionate about retaining its Victorian history with an emphasis on tradition - open coal fires, hand pulled ales and a well stocked selection of spirits....with no jukebox, no music and no pool table.

The Vic has 6 ensuite bedrooms to accommodate guests and is quietly situated within a 5 minute walk of Durham Cathedral, Durham Castle, the City Centre and a 15 minute walk from Durham Railway Station.

A warm welcome awaits - you won't be disappointed!
